Services

• Individualized assessment and treatment 
• Group-based rehabilitation

Preparation

• Ensure you have your Ontario Health Card or proof of medical coverage
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes that are suitable for exercising. 
• Bring a towel and water bottle.

Rehabilitation during COVID-19 

• Arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment
• Do not come in. Stay in your vehicle and call 905 632-3737 ext. 6002 to check in for your appointment. 
• You will be screened for COVID-19.
• You will be asked to clean your hands and put on a mask.

Go to your appointments as scheduled

Do not delay your rehabilitation. Go to your appointments as scheduled. If you have concerns about rehabilitation during COVID19, talk to your health care team. 

In some cases, we may be able to arrange for a virtual visit. 

What to expect

Rehabilitative assessment

• Your visit may take up to an hour.
• Your health care team may include occupational therapy assistant, physiotherapy assistant and physiotherapist.
• You will receive a customized rehabilitation plan, information and education about ongoing care and recovery. 

Group rehabilitation

• Group classes may take up to an hour. 
• Group classes include education and exercise. 
• Group classes may include up to 5 participants. 
• Group classes may be lead by an occupational therapy assistant, physiotherapy assistant. The Physiotherapist may re-assess or treat patients during the group session on an individual basis.
