The Fracture Clinic provide care to patients with orthopaedic injuries— injuries relating to the bones and joints as result of an accident or trauma to the body.

Location 

The Fracture Clinic is located Level 1 of the North Tower within Ambulatory Care.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • We are closed on statutory holidays and weekends.

Referrals

Physician

Patients are seen on referral. To refer a patient to the Fracture Clinic, complete the Ambulatory Care Referral Form and fax to 905-681-4879. 

Patients

Upon receiving the referral, patients will receive a call to book an appointment within two business days.

Services

  • Scheduled post-operative orthopaedic care
  • Unscheduled orthopaedic care

Preparation

  • Ensure you have your Ontario Health Card or proof of medical coverage
  • Pack all current prescription and non-prescription medications
  • Arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment
  • Check-in at the registration desk 

What Patients Can Expect

  • Your visit may take up to an hour or more
  • Blood and other laboratory work may be required depending on the assessment  

Fees

Patients may incur costs not covered by OHIP for supplies or equipment. There is a cost for injections provided at the fracture clinic. These costs are the responsibility of the patient and their family.
