The Auxiliary to Joseph Brant Hospital was founded in 1959, two years before the hospital opened. The long standing dedication of the Joseph Brant Hospital Auxiliary has its roots in helping to build the hospital and it continues to be an important part of the hospital family today.
In January 2012, the Auxiliary announced its pledge of $5 million for the Campaign to support Joseph Brant's Redevelopment and Expansion Project. This pledge is the largest single donation in the Hospital's history and reflects the dedication and commitment of our Auxiliary and Volunteers, for who we are incredibly grateful.
The Auxiliary generates revenue from its various businesses & fundraising including:
For 23 years running, the Antique and Collectibles Auction has been a much-anticipated event that offers the chance to give a second life to rare and interesting items donated from the community.
For Joseph Brant Hospital, the auction is one of our most important and exciting annual fundraising activities that supports Joseph Brant Hospital in the purchase of needed medical equipment. Last year, the auction raised over $40,000! Since 1997, the event has built a large following and has raised over $1,000,000
The fall auction has wrapped up and raised approximately $19,000.00 to support Joseph Brant Hospital. Thank you to those of you who supported the auction. We look forward to the next.
Please keep an eye on our website for information about our next auction. Visit www.jbhauctions.com today.
