Resuming Care

COVID-19 has and will continue to shape our daily lives. This includes how health care is delivered now and in the foreseeable future. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to safe, quality, patient-centered care.

Joseph Brant Hospital has begun to gradually and safely reintroduce programs and services paused by COVID-19.  Programs and services will be phased in as we coordinate with the province and the region.

Updates will be posted on the program and service page.

Re-scheduling your appointment

If your appointment or procedure was cancelled or postponed due to the pandemic, your physician or surgeon’s office will contact you with the new date..

Appointments will be booked based on urgency and the level of care needed, rather than first-come, first-served. This may lead to longer waits for some, but we are working to reduce wait times by ramping up our services in a safe and responsible way.

Virtual visits

We are expanding our offering of [virtual health care] services to ensure timely access to care without exposing patients or staff to unnecessary risk.

As we resume care, you may be invited to participate in a [virtual visit].

Sharing your feedback

Your feedback is important to us. Please share it with your physician or health care team.  They are ready and willing to work with you to meet your needs.  If further support is required, please contact the Patient Experience Office.
