Screening for COVID-19

Infection prevention and control screening measures are in place to protect patients, essential care partners and staff. Patients arriving to the hospital or moving between care areas will be asked:

  • your name and contact information,
  • purpose for your visit,
  • if you have symptoms associated with COVID-19; or,
  • have had contact with someone who has or is suspected of having COVID-19

Screening information will be recorded to assist with COVID-19 contact tracing and case management if needed. Patient and visitor privacy will be maintained.
