Gestational

The Gestational Diabetes Clinic is for women who are diagnosed with gestational diabetes or women who are already diabetic and become pregnant.

Using the Diabetes Canada clinical practice guidelines, patients will receive instruction about diet, exercise, glucose monitoring and insulin administration (if needed).

The clinic staff includes:

• Diabetes nurse educator
• Registered diabetes educator dietitian
• Obstetrician
• Internist

To refer your patients please complete and fax the referral form.

The Gestational Diabetes Clinic is located in the North tower of the hopsital, 2N500.
