Visiting Our Hospital

When visiting there are a few key things to keep in mind such as:

Cleaning your hands is the single most effective way to prevent the spread of infection. At JBH, you will notice an alcohol based hand rub dispenser inside the door of patient rooms, at the entrance to patient care units, and at hospital entrances/exits.

For the safety of our patients and loved ones, we ask all essential care partners to eat and drink in designated areas while ensuring physical distancing. This includes the cafeteria. In a healthcare environment it is critically important to minimize the transmission of any viruses or bacteria throughout the unit and building. Containing food and drink to these designated areas provides an additional layer of protection ensure the safety of our patients, visitors and staff.

Choose hospital friendly gifts such as Latex free balloons or magazines which are available in our hospital gift shop.

Visit only when you are healthy. To help keep our patients safe, it is best if you stay away from the hospital if you are unwell. You can send your wishes to your loved one through our email a patient service.

Recordings

To ensure the privacy of our patients, visitors and staff, consent is required for any photograph, recording or interview.  Without consent, the use of photography, video or sound recordings are not permitted on hospital property.
