Auxiliary

The Auxiliary to Joseph Brant Hospital was founded in 1959, two years before the hospital opened. The long standing dedication of the Joseph Brant Hospital Auxiliary has its roots in helping to build the hospital and it continues to be an important part of the hospital family today.

In January 2012, the Auxiliary announced its pledge of $5 million for the Campaign to support Joseph Brant's Redevelopment and Expansion Project. This pledge is the largest single donation in the Hospital's history and reflects the dedication and commitment of our Auxiliary and Volunteers, for who we are incredibly grateful.

The Auxiliary generates revenue from its various businesses & fundraising including:

• On-site Tim Hortons
• Gift Shop
• Vendor Market
• Antiques & Collectibles Auction

Activities & Events

Since 1997, the Antique and Collectibles Auctions have raised over $1,100,000.00 to support Joseph Brant Hospital.  We thank all who donated items, volunteered or attended the auctions.  

 This year our fundraising methods are adapting to the times. Rather than holding an auction we are offering a live Marketplace and Estate Sale. 

Where: St. Christopher's Anglican Church, 662 Guelph Line, Burlington

When: Friday, May 3rd from 4pm-7pm

           Saturday, May 4th from 9am-3pm

Items for sale include: China, crystal, silver, flatware, art, fine jewelry, linens, glassware, toys, figurines, costume jewelry, clocks, lighting, books and more!

- No buyers premium.  No HST

- Cash, Debit and Credit payments are accepted
