Updating the infrastructure of our Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) program space is critical to providing timely and high-quality care in the community. Our goal is to create a healing environment that fosters dignity, respect and person-centered care, thereby supporting recovery and enhancing patient outcomes.
The three core elements of the redevelopment project include: six new in-patient beds, a new Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, a Child and Youth day hospital and expanded outpatient services.
We continue to work with all levels of government to ensure that our goal of expanding mental health and addiction support in Burlington can be achieved.
