How our Self-Service App helps

  • Convenient. Check and update contact information and registration details before your appointment.
  • Private. There is no need to speak to a receptionist, so no risk of being overheard.
  • Reassuring. With real-time notifications and directions, you can be confident you are in the right place at the right time.
  • Saves you time. Self-service check-in is quicker. In-person check-in can take up to 10 minutes—the Self-Service App only takes one.

How our Self-Service App works

Joseph Brant Hospital uses Convey—a free, secure mobile app to connect patients and medical providers. After your appointment has been booked, we will send you a text message with instructions on how to take get and use the Self-Service App.

Do I have to use the Self-Service App? 

Using the Self-Service App is optional. If you choose not to use it, you can still check-in for your appointment at the registration desk.

How to get and set-up the Self-Service App?

  • Open the text message and follow the link to download the Convey app from Apple App Store or Google Play
  • Enter the Joseph Brant Hospital code provided to you 
  • Enter the PIN Code provided via text
  • Enter your date of birth

What to do when logged in

  • View upcoming appointments
  • Confirm attendance up to 48 hours in advance
  • Confirm your personal contact information
  • Answer screening questions
  • Check-in remotely 
  • Receive real-time notifications and directions to your appointment location

Making changes to your appointment

You cannot make changes to your appointment using the Self-Service App. To make changes, please contact your health care provider.
