Infants and children

The Maternal & Child Program at Joseph Brant Hospital is dedicated to providing care to pregnant women, infants and children up to the age of 18 years. We believe in family-centered care, which means that our patients are partners in care.

All services are located on Level 2 of the North tower.

What to expect

It is our goal to provide your child with a safe and supportive care experience that respects your personal, cultural and spiritual choices.

Your health care team

We are a community based hospital and work closely with McMaster Children’s Hospital. While here, your health care team may include a paediatrician, nurse, respiratory therapist, social worker and pharmacist.

Parents are a vital component of this team. They provide comfort and support to their child, and help us to plan and make decisions that impact care.
