Step 1: Complete the volunteer application (see "Apply Online" below)
Step 2: Attend an information session:

Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 1pm |
Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 5pm |
There is no need to register in advance, simply click on the link to attend at the date/time you choose.
Step 3: Meet with the Coordinator of Volunteers to discuss your interests and the needs of the hospital (this is arranged after attending the information session)
Step 4:
Once complete, we will place you into a role and provide you with training and support to be successful.

Health screening must be completed before starting a placement in the hospital. This includes:
Completion of the health screening may require 4 or more visits to your family physician.
Volunteers are included in Directive #6 and are recognized as health care workers. As such, all volunteers at Joseph Brant Hospital must show proof of full vaccination (plus 14 days). There are no exceptions to this mandate.
Parking is free for volunteers while on shift. Free parking is available in the parking garage on levels 3 & 4.
