Thank You to Retiring Board Members

Deborah Brown

 

The JBH Board of Directors and Management team would like to thank Deborah Brown for her service as a Director on the Joseph Brant Hospital Board of Directors. Deborah joined the Board in June 2021 and hit the ground running after accepting the offer to be Vice Chair of the Governance & Nominating Committee embracing the demands of that role. Deborah also served on the Quality Committee of the Board. Unfortunately Deborah had to step away from the Board for personal reasons but the Board looks forward to her rejoining in the future if her circumstances permit.

 The JBH Board of Directors and Management team would like to thank Ted McMeekin for his service as a Director on the Joseph Brant Hospital Board of Directors. The organization, and specifically the Human Resources Policy & Compensation Committee and the Governance & Nominating Committee, have benefitted tremendously from Ted’s knowledge, vast experience, wise, and thoughtful input into the deliberations of the Committees and the Board. Ted joined the Board in January 2020 and unfortunately he has decided to resign due to the trajectory of his career.

 The JBH Board of Directors and Management team would like to thank Lisa Kearns for her service as the City of Burlington Representative on the Joseph Brant Hospital Board of Directors. Lisa was appointed to the Board as the Municipal Representative in 2019 and carried out her fiduciary duty with great insight and commitment. Lisa presented a community-minded perspective to the Board’s deliberations.
