Measuring Quality and Safety
At JBH, we are committed to providing high-quality care and improving patient experience. Our performance indicators are not just measures we report—they are tools we use to enhance the care we provide and address areas where improvements can be made. By sharing this data, we aim to be transparent and accountable, while also empowering you, our patients, with information that can help you make informed healthcare decisions. All hospital programs and departments are expected to measure processes and outcomes on a regular basis. Results are reported to the JBH Quality Council, chaired by the President and CEO.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care requires Ontario hospitals to report results for key patient safety indicators to the public. You will find our most recent patient safety indicator results below.
