Measuring Our Performance

Measuring Quality and Safety

Measurement of key performance indicators is an important part of Joseph Brant Hospital's quality and safety improvement program. All hospital programs and departments are expected to measure processes and outcomes on a regular basis. Results are reported to the JBH Quality Council, chaired by the President and CEO.

JBH is pleased to comply with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's initiative requiring Ontario hospitals to report results for key patient safety indicators to the public. You will find our most recent patient safety indicator results below.

We regularly update our results as soon as new data is available, in compliance with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care directions.

Patient Safety Indicator Reports:

COVID-19

Joseph Brant Hospital is working closely with regional and provincial health partners to monitor the evolving situation, assess local risk and respond to the care needs of our community.  During this time, we continue to monitor patient safety but may be delayed in posting indicator reports.

Thank you for your understanding.
