The Joseph Brant Hospital and the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation is saddened by the passing of Pasquale Paletta and are incredibly thankful for the impact of his family's generosity.

Our heartfelt condolences go to his family at this time.

Mr. Paletta came to Burlington in 1964 to start a family and their business. Since that time, the Paletta family has always attempted to make Burlington a better community for families to work, live and play based on their strongly held belief in giving back.

The generosity of the Paletta Family has been felt across the city and around the world. In the Fall of 2016, the family announced the Pasquale and Anita Paletta Family Match Challenge in support of the redevelopment and expansion of Joseph Brant Hospital, whereby they matched all donations up to $5 Million. This extraordinary generosity was instrumental in the transformation of our community Hospital. In recognition of their support, The Pasquale and Anita Paletta family was honoured as the Philanthropist of the Year in 2018 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Golden Horseshoe Chapter.

It is truly an honour to have gotten to know the Paletta family and truly appreciate their friendship and support.
