Volunteer information sessions are hosted once per month. Student and adult volunteers are welcome. Space is limited. Please register in advance. Email or phone below:

Health Screening

Health screening must be completed before starting a placement in the hospital. This includes:

  • A two-step TB test
  • Blood work to confirm immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (chicken pox) or last two dates when boosters were administered. Please have your doctor complete the Health Requirements form.

Completion of the health screening may require 4 or more visits to your family physician. Please ensure you can make the commitment to follow through with the required paperwork. 


Successful applicants are not guaranteed placement.

Parking is free for volunteers and prospective volunteers in the Parking Garage. Parking tickets are validated in the Auxiliary & Volunteer Services offices. 

Do not park in the Pay & Display lots.
